An incident involving a transgender woman occurred on Walking Street in Pattaya.

This morning, an unusual incident occurred on Walking Street in Pattaya. Police and rescue workers were called to a local cannabis shop, where a transgender woman jumped into the sea after consuming marijuana. Witnesses reported that the woman entered the shop, bought and smoked marijuana, then went to the back balcony, from where she jumped. The distress call prompted a response from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Pattaya rescue team and police, who spent nearly half an hour persuading the woman to return to shore. Ultimately, rescuers managed to safely pull her out of the water without serious injuries. A used marijuana pipe was found at the scene. The woman was taken to the station for further medical and psychological evaluation.
