Scammers and organizers of fake companies have been arrested in Pattaya.

In Pattaya, the police carried out an operation to dismantle a network of fake companies involving both locals and foreigners. During the investigation, several individuals involved in fraudulent schemes were arrested.

According to Thairath.co.th, the operation was conducted by the Department of Police (DoP) in collaboration with the Organized Crime Suppression Unit. The police discovered that in Pattaya, a group of people operated fake companies used for fraud.

One of those arrested was a Chinese citizen whom the police referred to as the "boss" of this group. He is accused of organizing schemes for creating fake companies and legitimizing money through these companies.

During searches at his residence, numerous documents and financial papers indicating the scale of the fraud were seized. Additionally, the police also arrested a local resident who was charged with setting up more than 100 fake companies.

According to sources from Thairath.co.th, this person used his companies for legitimizing money and profiting from fraudulent schemes. During the investigation, several foreigners, including Chinese and Korean citizens, were also arrested and accused of participating in fake companies and legitimizing money through them.

The police conducted searches at all the residences of those arrested and seized a large number of documents and financial papers. The police are continuing their investigation into this case and are checking other possible fraud schemes in Pattaya.

Currently, all those arrested are under custody and will be brought to court for charges of fraud and legitimizing money. In connection with this, the police urge citizens to remain vigilant and seek help from security services in case of suspicious situations.
