Representatives of the bar claim that on August 25, the woman came to the establishment with a fake ID and did not have money to pay. There are also statements that she had allegedly not paid bills in other establishments more than once.

According to the bar, the manager offered her to sign a consent to sell her hair for 3,000 baht. At the same time, the human rights activist questioned how voluntary such consent could be in the circumstances.

She also drew attention to the fact that the woman's hair was first cut with scissors, and then completely shaved with a machine. She found the explanation about the hair donation dubious.
