Ukrainian man detained at Samui airport in case of nominee owners

Yesterday, June 9, a Ukrainian citizen was detained upon arrival at Samui Airport. Immigration officials of Surat Thani province, together with the Koh Phangan police and the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), arrested 30-year-old Anatoly Plyushev. According to the investigation, the man is accused of using Thai nominees to acquire land on Koh Phangan.
