The owner of a bar in Pattaya contacted the police after an Australian guest became unable to pay his bill for 32,540 baht incurred during a day of drinking. According to local media reports, the bar owner reported the situation to the police around midnight, noting that the Australian had consumed alcohol all day and was unable to settle the bill.
As per Thaiger's report, the bar owner informed the police after the intoxicated Australian failed to pay his bill despite having been under the influence for an entire day. The venue owner requested assistance from the police to resolve the issue.
The police accepted the complaint and conducted necessary checks. At present, the Australian has been detained for further investigation, while the bar owner continues to await a resolution regarding his bill.
During the police investigation, it was established that the Australian had been in an intoxicated state throughout the day and could not leave the establishment on his own. He is currently under the supervision of Pattaya's law enforcement authorities.
