The Thai government has intensified a large-scale operation against online fraud by launching the AOC 1441 hotline. From February to May 2026, the number of calls to this line increased to 966,125, indicating a rise in fraudulent activity and the need for a prompt response from authorities. From February to September 2025, 851,495 calls to the hotline were registered, showing a significant increase in requests for assistance. Total losses from fraud decreased from 14,365.97 million baht to 12,155.87 million baht (-15.38%) thanks to the efforts of law enforcement agencies and the effective operation of the AOC 1441 hotline. Thai authorities urge citizens to immediately call 1441 if they suspect fraud in order to prevent financial losses and assist law enforcement in investigating crimes. The AOC 1441 hotline serves as an operational "forward post" through which victims quickly receive help, money flows are blocked, and materials are forwarded for criminal cases. This allows for effective action against fraud and protection of victims.
