Three British citizens have been detained in Pattaya on suspicion of robbery. They appeared in court after an incident that occurred on the night of February 26. According to investigators, the suspects, armed with knives, broke into the home of British chef Wesley Cyril Russell and his Thai partner. Threatening them, they stole a safe containing more than 2 million baht, as well as mobile phones. The perpetrators fled in a car, damaging the gate of the estate. Police detained 20-year-old Palmer Germaine, 38-year-old Christopher Erans, and 32-year-old Taihul Junior Michael Campbell. Two of them tried to leave Thailand, which was regarded as an attempt to evade justice. All three have been charged with group robbery. A fourth suspect is in custody and is being questioned.
