Thai police arrested four Vietnamese suspects accused of fraud and bribery, with operations conducted jointly with Thai and Taiwanese law enforcement agencies. During the operation, four citizens of Vietnam were detained who are suspected to have been involved in an international fraud scheme.

According to sources from Nation Thailand, police carried out several raids at possible living and working locations of the suspects. These actions were part of a larger operation against cross-border crimes conducted jointly by Thai and Taiwanese law enforcement agencies.

As a result, not only Vietnamese but also other participants in the scheme were apprehended. Nation Thailand reported that Bangkok remains the center of most fraud schemes in Thailand, particularly targeting women and young people.

In light of this, police have stepped up measures to combat such crimes. Thai law enforcement continues to actively fight international crime, including fraud and bribery.

Currently, the arrested individuals are under custody, and their case will be heard in court. It is also reported that Chinese law enforcement is assisting Thai police in combating fraudulent schemes.

Specifically, the Chinese side is seeking support from Thailand for eliminating 36 groups of fraudsters from Meizhijie city. Additionally, it should be noted that Thai customs continue to combat smuggling, particularly illegal cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

Recently, criminals have started using "ant workers" tactics for covertly moving goods. Overall, Thai law enforcement continues to actively fight various types of fraud and crimes.

New arrests and court cases are expected in the near future.
