On Kok Saui, 60 illegal landlord companies were discovered

In Koh Saa in Thailand, police conducted a raid and found 60 illegal property management companies operating on the island. The operation was carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs with over 300 police officers involved.

According to Thaiger and Bangkok Post, during the raid, property management companies operating on Koh Saa were discovered. These companies violated Thai laws, leading to their liquidation.

Thairath.co.th reports that the operation was conducted jointly with the Company Registration Department (DBD) and the Narcotics Suppression Division (DSI). Over a thousand companies on Koh Saa and Phangan were checked.

According to Nation Thailand, this operation is related to several million baht worth of property. The police are continuing their investigation and plan to expand the scope of the operation to other cities in Thailand, including popular tourist destinations.

Thaiger also reports that the operation caused concern among local residents and businesspeople on Koh Saa. As a result of the raid, several people were detained for questioning regarding the illegal property management companies.

Further steps include conducting an inspection and investigating all discovered cases. The police will continue their work to uncover and prevent similar crimes on the island.
