Chinese scammer arrested in Pattaya

In Pattaya, a Chinese scammer was arrested for cheating tourists, reports Bangkok Post. According to police sources cited by Bangkok Post, the suspect is suspected of carrying out various fraud schemes among city visitors.

Bangkok Post reports that over 70 Chinese citizens were arrested in the last 24 hours on suspicion of different forms of fraud and deception. The police continue their investigation and are establishing all details of the case.

In Pattaya and other tourist centers in Thailand, the number of cases involving Chinese tourists has increased. Specifically, Bangkok Post notes that 77 Chinese tourists were detained for various types of fraud.

According to sources from Pattaya police, the suspect was arrested on Sukumvit Road around 1 a.m. The police are conducting an investigation and establishing all details of the case.

At present, the suspect is in custody for further questioning. Pattaya police continue their fight against scams among Chinese tourists, which has become one of the key problems in the city.
