British man arrested at Phuket airport with cocaine

On February 18, 2025, Jamie Louis Swain, 29, from Enfield, London, was arrested at Phuket International Airport after cocaine fell from his pocket during a fit of rage. He had arrived from Shanghai on Juneyao Air HO 1323. Immigration officers seized 4.11g of cocaine. He faces charges of importing a Category 2 narcotic and illegal possession—up to 20 years or life imprisonment under Thai law.
